How do I create a schedule?

Schedules are a convenient way of scheduling your signage content to play on certain times and days.

Creating a Schedule in Director

  1. Log into SignStix Director.
  2. Navigate to Content > Search Schedules.
  3. Click the plus (+) button near the top and choose 'New Schedule'.
  4. Enter a name for your new schedule e.g. ‘MainSchedule’. You can also give it a description and some tags.
  5. Add signs and/or sequences to your schedule as follows:
    1. Click the grey plus (+) button in the white circle in the 'Schedule entries' section to add signs to the schedule OR
    2. Click the white plus (+) button in the grey circle in the 'Schedule entries' section to add sequences to the schedule.
    3. Each time you click a sign/sequence, it will be added to the end of the schedule.
    4. Click 'Close' once you have added all the signs/sequences required.
  6. Back in the schedule panel, you can adjust your sequence as required:
    1. Click the minus (-) button to remove an entry from the schedule.
    2. Select the time and date you would like the sign to start playing from. It can be 'Daily' to play every day, 'Specific Days' to select specific days of the week you'd like your signage to play on, or 'One Off' to set the signage to play just for one day. For a 'One Off' you'll need to select the time and the 'Start Date' which will determine when the sign or sequence will play. For 'Specific Days' you'll also need to set a time for your signage to start playing.
  7. Click the 'Add Schedule' button near the bottom to complete the operation.
