How do you add an image to a playlist?/How do you display both video and static content?

In order to display both video and static content on your screens, you will need to do the following:

Create a new sign for your static image:
  1. Open Creator using the 'Creator' button at the top left the page in Director
  2. Select the option 'New Sign' and select a name and preset (portrait/landscape)
  3. Using your Media Management window at the bottom of the page, select the 'Upload Assets' button to upload your image into SignStix 
  4. Once uploaded, drag and drop your image onto the canvas
  5. Move and resize as required
  6. Click the 'Publish' button at the top of the page to save your sign
Create a full-width video sign:
  1. As described above, create a new sign and call it 'Full Width Video Sign'
  2. Using the tools on the left-hand side, select the video tool
  3. A box will appear on the canvas
  4. In the Tool Options under the Layers Palette, set the Video Size to Full Width
  5. Publish your video sign
Create a playlist for your video files:
  1. Navigate into Director>Content
  2. Select the + icon at the top of the page and choose 'New Playlist'
  3. Name, tag, and add description as desired
  4. Select the + icon to add your video files
  5. Drag and drop the files to reorder
  6. Click the 'Add Playlist' button to save
Create a sequence to link your static and video content together: 
  1. Navigate back into Director
  2. Select the + icon at the top of the page and choose 'Create a Sequence' from the drop down list
  3. Name and tag your sequence as required
  4. Select the + icon at the right-hand side of the page
  5. A pop-up window will appear with all your published signs in it
  6. Select the sign you created for your image
  7. Also select the full width video sign
  8. Close the pop-up window
  9. You should see both your signs in a list
  10. Along the video sign line you should see a column titled 'Playlist' 
  11. Click on the drop down and select 'Add Playlist'
  12. Select your video playlist from the list
  13. Along the same line, you should also see a drop down under the column titled 'Repeat'
  14. Click on the drop down for your video sign and select 'Wait for Video' from the list
  15. Select the 'Add Sequence' button to save
Once you have completed the above steps you will be able to assign and deploy your sequence just as you would a playlist.
