If the devices are connected to ethernet:
1. Attach a USB mouse to the SignStix device.
2. Double right-click to escape from signage mode back to the white Controls page.
3. Make a note of the (static) IP address displayed in the Information section of this page.
4. Right-click again to exit the SignStix Player app.
5. Right-click again to get to the Android desktop (if you're not there already).
6. Click the Settings icon (like a grey cog wheel) at the bottom left of the screen.
7. Click on 'Ethernet'.
8. Click on 'Ethernet configuration'.
9. Under 'Connection Type' it will currently say 'Static IP'.
10. Click the 'DHCP' radio button.
11. Right-click 3 times to get back to the Android desktop.
12. Start the SignStix Player app (click the 6 dots icon to get to the apps page then click the SignStix Player icon).
13. When the Controls page comes up, make a note of the IP address in the Information section.
14. Confirm that the new address (from DHCP) is different to the old static address.
15. Allow signage to start.
16. Check it displays as expected.
17. Re-power the device and check that when it comes up, the Controls page shows a DHCP address again (most likely the same one).
Then in SignStix Director:
18. Log into the SignStix account and check in Device Admin that the device is reporting-in (showing a 'green dot').
19. Expand the device's details then click 'Health Check'
20. Confirm in the resulting report that the 'Updated' time is recent (i.e. later than the point at which the change was made).
