Try the following steps to determine the cause and resolution:
Is the power light on the screen illuminated?
If not, ensure the screen is plugged into a power socket and that the power is switched on. Ensure that the screen itself is switched on (and not in stand-by mode).
Is the power light on the signage device illuminated? (On some devices the power light is inside the device, visible through a little hole)
If not, ensure that the signage device is plugged into a power socket and that the power is switched on.
Is the signage device connected to the screen via an HDMI lead?
Ensure that the HDMI lead is plugged firmly into both the screen and the signage device.
Is the screen showing the correct input?
Screens usually have several inputs. Only one of them is connected to the signage device. The screen or its remote control (or both) should have an 'input' or 'source' button (which looks like a screen shape with a little arrow symbol). Use this to cycle through the inputs until you see the signage on the screen.
Does the screen show anything at all when you cycle through the inputs? (E.g. 'No signal', 'No input', '1080p')?
If the screen shows nothing at all when you change inputs, the screen itself may be faulty.
